2019 Chris Craft Launch 28 GT

The new Chris Craft Launch 28 GT is a sportier, more versatile boat than its Launch series fleet mates. The Italian design blends luxury materials with functional style. The GT model boasts varnished mahogany gleaming from the steering wheel, helm, and gunwales. Teak accents on the bow, footrests, and swim platform complement a full teak flooring. The leather-trimmed steering wheel accents a beautiful dash with a Chris-Craft branded gauge, push-button controls, and a 12-inch LCD screen. The perforated stainless-steel trim highlights air vents, controls, the windlass/anchor latch, and cleats. The buttery almond upholstery — a cushioned and coated vinyl — sports a new “wave” stitching, departing from the diamond pattern. Rounded seats and sun lounges in the open bow and aft deck add softness to the sleek traditional hull. The aft sun pad is a special feature; its backrest slides forward to lengthen the lounge, or back to create an aft forward-facing bench. Helm seats feature bolsters for extra height.

Other features on this GT model included a dive door that lifts and swings inboard, while the teak floor insert opens to reveal the swim ladder. There are two other ladders on the bow and swim platform, making 3 easy ways to access the water. Rods and skis can be stowed in the floor ski locker, while fenders and other larger equipment can be stored in a deep compartment to the port of the aft sun lounge. Higher freeboard adds safety and enhances the flared bow’s dry ride. A portable potty and sink under the port cockpit is convenient, and a drawer refrigerator is behind the port cockpit seat. A teak table can be used in the cockpit or bow for entertaining and can be easily stored for more walk around space.

This 2019 Chris Craft Launch 28 GT is powered by a Volvo Penta 6.2L V8 with 430 hp. It has only 98.0 engine hours and has been used solely in fresh water. This boat was bought new by Steve Winn who used it on Lake George in New York until the seller purchased it in 2020 for use on Lake Tahoe.

The boat comes on a 2019 Boat Mate Trailers dual axle trailer. It has tonneau covers for the bow and cockpit to protect it from the elements.
