Unlike many restoration shops, Sierra Boat does all of its engine restoration in house. As a full service marina and boatyard, we have always had qualified staff to take care of the oldest engines to the newest. Our experience with engines runs from Liberty V-12s, Hall Scott, Packard, Sterling, Scripps and Kermath. Of course we also work on all of the Chris Craft engines including the A-120 V8 as well as Chrysler, Grey Marine and Interceptor.
Have a modern engine? We do those too. We have factory trained mechanics for Mercruiser, Volvo
and Bombardier products. We can re-power your wooden boat in a way that still looks stock from the outside including a single exhaust and correct instruments. We do this in a way that does not alter the boat and allows for the re-installation of the original engine if desired for show purposes.
In addition, our machine shop can fabricate or fix just about anything. When you can’t buy new parts, you have to be able to fix old ones. We also have a huge supply of old parts to keep just about any engine running. If we do not have it, we go on the hunt or have it duplicated usually with great success.
