    1958 Hafer Craft 14ft

Following World War II, in 1943, Glen Hafer started building small 14′ inboard speedboats powered by 45 hp Gray engines. He was a pioneer in this field and to this day, a number of these little gems can be seen ‘zipping’ around the lake daily. Later, as interest in inboards increased, boats were lengthened to 16′ and powered by 90 hp Grays.

This 14ft Hafer Craft has the Gray Marine 45 hp engine with a Paragon Phantom Four transmission. It has a fiberglass bottom for no soaking. The deck varnish is in fair to good condition and the hull sides are in good condition.

This is a very rare classic boat with great lines at a price to sell!

    1960 Century 19ft Resorter

    $19,500.00

    This is a 1960 Century 19ft Resorter.

The 19ft Resorter is an excellent boat, but most people can’t get past the unusual square nose. After this boat suffered some damage to the bow, the owner decided to rebuild the bow with a proper pointed nose. The repair changed the look of the boat and made it more desirable.

Sierra Boat has maintenance records and has performed the work done on this boat. The deck varnish is in excellent condition and the hull sides and transom are in good condition. The upholstery, engine box and dash gauges were all new in 1998. The boat was last used in 2003 so it had very little use after the work was done. The boat is powered by a Ford Interceptor motor with 250 hp. Sierra Boat fiberglassed the bottom which had some minor repairs done to it in 1999. The fiberglass bottom is solid and is in good shape but will need some repairs before going back into the water.

This Century Resorter is the perfect family ski boat with the built-in ladder on the transom or a great first wooden boat! Price reduced to sell!

    1994 Hacker-Craft 26ft Expanded Cockpit Runabout.

These modern Hacker-Crafts are built using 1930’s designed but updated for modern use. While the designed from the 30’s would have been triple or twin cockpits, this updated design has an enlarged U-shaped seating arrangement. It’s much easier to get around in the boat and is more sociable as well. They feature all glued construction, so you don’t get the plank movement inherent with older boats which means less maintenance.

This boat was fully re-built by the experts at Sierra Boat. It received a completely new west system bottom in 2015 including all the framing and new keel. It received fresh coats of varnish which was done in 2015 as well. Recently the seller installed new flooring which stays cooler than the previous flooring.

This boat comes with a bimini top, transportation cover, full custom cover, custom cockpit covers, an upgraded stereo system with speakers and amp, and a bow thruster which makes maneuvering a breeze in tight spaces. This 1994 Hacker Craft sits on a 2008 Trail-Rite Hacker-Craft trailer.

    2002 Hacker-Craft 26ft Expanded Cockpit Runabout.

Hacker-Craft builds some of the finest, new construction runabouts around. Sierra Boat has a lot of history taking care of these boats and they are very well suited to Tahoe’s rough lake conditions. The designers at Hacker-Craft started with the antique Hacker designs of the 30’s and updated them for modern boating. The most notable feature of this model is the expanded middle cockpit. The original boats of this size would have had a three-cockpit configuration. The expanded cockpit gives the boat more seating and a layout that is easier to get around in.

Hacker-Crafts feature modern all epoxy glued construction. This means that they don’t need to soak up to float. It also means they are a much stronger boat and seam movement is virtually eliminated. They also feature a modern deep vee hull for excellent ride. This 2002 Hacker-Craft is power by a 5.7L fuel injected Crusader V-8. The boat also features a bow thruster for excellent maneuverability when docking.

  • Riva Aquariva 33

    2006 Riva Aquariva 33

    $380,000.00

    2006 Riva Aquariva 33

In the 1950’s, under the leadership of Carlo Riva, the company known as Riva Yachts began to cultivate a very prestigious reputation. Because of their dedication to excellence, Riva became the epitome of elegance, craftsmanship and style in the boating world. Using only the finest materials assembled by the most skilled and experienced craftsmen, Carlo Riva built boats for kings and queens, sportsmen, and movie stars.

A direct descendant of the most celebrated Riva of all, the mahogany Aquarama, the Aquariva carries on a boatbuilding tradition which began 168 years ago. It’s a flawless evolution of style, as the Aquariva retains that gorgeous stem-to-stern undulation of its predecessors. From the stainless-steel bow fairlead with integrated hawse to the mahogany and maple foredeck to the teak toe rails and swept windshield, it is hands down one of the world’s most elegant runabouts.

Currently there are four versions of the Riva Aquariva 33 available; the standard Riva version, the Aquariva Super, the Aquariva Gucci, and the Aquariva by Marc Newson. All four boats are essentially the same but differ slightly in styling and details. All models come equipped with an electronically controlled two-speed gearbox which maximizes the sporting potential of the twin 380-hp Yanmar diesel engines. The engines on this vessel have less than 110.0 engine hours, which add up to a mere 10 hours per year. The agility and responsiveness of the Riva Aquariva is what makes this boat truly special, delivering fast acceleration and a top speed of up to 42 knots with a cruising speed at 36 knots. With twin engines and a bow thruster, the captain can dock this 33ft boat with ease. See http://www.riva-yacht.com

The standard navy-blue hull sets off the dark brightwork and contrasts beautifully with the cockpit’s creamy leather and U-shaped aft bench seating. For the captain, a leather helm chair with flip-up bolster provides standing or seated comfort. The Riva Aquariva 33  features a large double berth and a discreet toilet below. For entertaining, there is a pod-style mahogany table, and a wet bar and refrigerator/ice maker. Sun worshipers will appreciate the large transom sun pad, and her swim platform has a ladder for easy water access. Another feature is the electronically activated canopy, which works like a sports car’s cabriolet top. Flip a switch and the clever Bimini top shades the helm area and U-shaped seating area.

This Riva has been inspected and serviced by Sierra Boat, a certified Riva dealer. The exterior mahogany wood was refinished in the fall of 2018. This boat comes on a 2004 Magic Tilt triple axle trailer.

This is a great opportunity to own an Aquariva at the fraction of the cost of a new one!

    Comitti Boats

Comitti Boats, long known in Europe for building the highest quality wooden and composite speedboats, Comitti S.p.A., in business since 1956 on the shores of Lake Como, deserves a close look by powerboat and yacht enthusiasts. Currently building six models from 6.5 to 10.5 meters in length with gasoline or diesel power from Mercruiser and Volvo, Comitti carefully manages its production volume to build the highest quality artisan-crafted speedboats in Italy. With designs inspired by the timeless style of La Dolce Vita, “the sweet life“, Comitti uses state of the art composite and wood boat building methods to produce a strong, lightweight, stunningly beautiful vessel that will last a lifetime with minimal annual maintenance.

(History) In 1956, Mario Comitti began building high-speed motorboats on Lake Como.  His boats were at the forefront of experimental design and expressed the Italian passion for speed. Mario Comitti son, Elia, raced the boats and built their reputation as he won race after race.  Racing designs evolved and gained elegance along the way.  Design of the hull running surface, which had begun relatively flat, was the focus of much development.  A new Comitti “V” shape evolved, which resulted in better rough water handling while providing an ideal wake for water skiing. Signature down angle lift strakes on the running surface increase speed, improve handling and provide a dry ride.
