1994 Donzi Sweet 16
The Sweet 16 was the masterpiece of Don Aronow and the first boat offered by his company, Donzi Marine. Since going into production in 1964, with a gap in the late 1970s and early 1980s, this boat has been something of a little-known jewel. Its 50-plus mph top speed at sea level feels like a whole lot more, and with the type of handling only a small boat can offer, it’s incredibly fun to drive.
This 1994 Donzi Sweet 16 will turn heads with its red stripe on white color scheme. The gel coat on the deck and hull sides are in excellent condition. The white rolled and pleated upholstery with red welting is in excellent condition as well. Besides its undeniable good looks, the Donzi 16 was a sensation because of its performance. This boat is powered by a MerCruiser 4.3LX V6 with an Alpha One outdrive. The engine has low engine hours and has only been used in fresh water.
The current owners bought the boat in 2001 and have had it serviced and stored with Sierra Boat since. The boat got used for a couple runs every other year to keep it in an excellent running condition. This boat comes on a red 1995 Hoss trailer that has been stored inside year-round. The boat is protected by a full custom cover and a cockpit snap on tonneau cover.
