1951 Century 20ft Resorter

According to the Century Boats website, the company was formed in Milwaukee in 1926 and then, a few years later, relocated to Manistee, Michigan where it remained for 60 years. Performance was an attribute of Century watercraft and they were later dubbed the “Thoroughbred of Boats”. After successfully serving as a government contractor in the ’40s, Century returned to pleasure boating in the ’50s and amassed an extensive network of over 300 dealerships.

Century only made 384 20ft Resorters from 1950 to 1954. This Resorter, Carla Marie, is visually appealing and in good condition. The upholstery is in beautiful shape with minor ware and a few small scuffs. Carla Marie’s dashboard and gauges are all in excellent condition showing to be one of the highlights of this beautiful Resorter. The bottom is a fiberglass ‘no soak’ bottom and is in very good condition. In the fall of 2020, Sierra Boat Company did a full engine rebuild on the 158hp Chris Craft MBL, and the boat has had little use since. With only 43 fresh water only engine hours recorded since the engine was rebuilt, this boat has more than enough power and life to give to its next owner.

This 1951 Century 20ft Resorter comes with a custom waterline cover, spare prop, anchor, and custom 1999 trailer.

This Century Resorter was in a slip at Sierra Boat for the past two summers. It is turn key, ready to be enjoyed!
