    1955 Chris Craft 21ft Capri – Sold

    $49,500.00

    1955 Chris Craft 21ft Capri.

Only 170 21ft Capri’s were built from 1955 to 1956. Even fewer were built with the Chrysler M45 hemi option. Of all the Capri models, this is the most desirable and demand has pushed prices into just under $100,000 for top quality boats.

This example is in very original, but nice condition. There are a few open seams on the deck and the bottom is original, so it will need to be soaked up. It garnered a respectable 2nd place at the Tahoe Concours. Unusual to this boat is the turquoise and white upholstery which was a factory special order, with gold and white being standard.

    1957 Century 18ft Arabian

    $55,000.00

    1957 Century 18ft Arabian.

The 1957 Arabian is perhaps one of the best-looking Arabian’s ever built. It is estimated that 41 were produced and we have only accounted for 10 over the last 25 years. These are very rare largely because the buying public was finding utility boats, like the Resorter and Coronado, to be more usable than the traditional cockpit designs. This boat was designed to go head to head with the Chris Craft Capri. The Arabian had a great advantage over the Capri in that it was available with far more horsepower.

This example comes with the 215 hp Ford Interceptor engine that performs well at high altitude here at Lake Tahoe. Sierra Boat did a complete restoration on this boat in the fall of 2004 and the boat has not been used since. The project started with a west system bottom for no soaking and fresh varnish all around. This boat has stunning blond Avidore decks offset by red African mahogany. The yellow and brown upholstery is the original styling and in excellent condition.

This is a great opportunity to buy a fully restored boat at a fraction of the cost of the restoration.

    $12,500.00

    1958 Hafer Craft 14ft.

Following World War II, in 1943, Glen Hafer started building small 14′ inboard speedboats powered by 45 hp Gray engines. He was a pioneer in this field and to this day, a number of these little gems can be seen ‘zipping’ around the lake daily. Later, as interest in inboards increased, boats were lengthened to 16′ and powered by 90 hp Grays.

This 14ft Hafer Craft has the Gray Marine 45 hp engine with a Paragon Phantom Four transmission. It has a fiberglass bottom for no soaking. The deck varnish is in fair to good condition and the hull sides are in good condition.

This is a very rare classic boat with great lines at a price to sell!

    1975 Pedrazzini 28ft Super Aquamar – SOLD

    $250,000.00

This is a 1975 Pedrazzini 28ft Super Aquamar made in Switzerland.

While Riva may be the Mercedes Benz of classic boats, Pedrazzini is the exclusive Bentley/Rolls Royce of the class. In fact, the Chairmen of Porsche/Audi/Bentley captains a Pedrazzini Special identical to this one that is available.

Here is some information from Pedrazzini’s website.

Pedrazzini runabouts: crafted from the most exquisite materials with great skill and extreme patience.

Pedrazzini has been committed to the art of boat building for over 100 years. As in the good old days, the company’s mahogany runabouts are crafted by hand. Step by step, the individual elements are meticulously finished and assembled. It can take up to nine months to complete a single runabout. Each boat that leaves the yard reflects Pedrazzini’s dedication to quality, attention to detail, and flair for timelessly elegant styling.

The Super Aquamar is similar to the more famous Riva Aquarama. Sierra Boat has done significant refurbishing on this boat. We recently re-powered the boat with fuel injected 5.7 L Mercruiser engines. This is a great boat for Lake Tahoe and easily handles Tahoe’s rough water.

    2001 Hacker-Craft 26 Expanded Cockpit Runabout

    2001 Hacker-Craft 26ft Expanded Cockpit Runabout.

Hacker Craft builds some of the finest, new construction, runabouts around. Sierra Boat has a lot of history taking care of these boats and they are very well suited to Tahoe’s rough lake conditions. The designers at Hacker-Craft started with the antique Hacker designs of the 30’s and updated them for modern boating. The most notable feature of this model is the expanded middle cockpit. The original boats of this size would have had a three-cockpit configuration. The expanded cockpit gives the boat more seating and a layout that is easier to get around in.

Hacker Crafts feature modern, all epoxy glued construction. This means that they don’t need to soak up to float. It also means they are a much stronger boat and seam movement is virtually eliminated. They also feature a modern deep vee hull for excellent ride. Power comes from a 5.7L fuel injected Crusader V-8. The boat also features a bow thruster for excellent maneuverability when docking.

This is a very unique 2003 StanCraft 29ft Torpedo.

StanCraft is a well-established custom boat builder in the Coeur d’Alene, Idaho area. Stan Young began building boats in Flathead Lake, Montana in the 30’s. His most iconic design was the 22’ Torpedo model which debuted in 1945. His son, Sid, took over the company in the 60’s and moved the operation to Coeur d’Alene, where he started building “new” wooden StanCraft’s.

You can read more about StanCraft on their website: http://stancraftboats.com/

The 29ft Torpedo is inspired by the 1945 design but had an up to date modern bottom with a smooth and level ride. The boat was custom built for the current and original owner and features many hardware items unique to this boat. The windshield alone is a work of art. The interior features genuine red leather upholstery.

It also features a bow thruster for easy maneuvering.  The boat has been maintained by Sierra most of its life and has always received top care.  It comes on a tandem axle trailer.
